Choice of Project Car

Another restriction will be Satria to 2.0 engine. Perdana original is 2.0 therefore is okay

If getting those Satria with endorsed 4G63T and I replace the engine with another 4G63T from halfcut, is that still ok?

Why not save up for Evo 3?

A31 chassis heavier, Unless is a Nissan Bluebird with RB26DETT, if not wrong one of my friend's friend transplanted that. Cant remember is RB25 or RB26.

Still a beginner only in this forum but other forums I'm not sure  Kidding.

Like 1.8 Celica GTS engine transplant to 1.8 Corolla

The price of Evo 3 is almost the same with Evo 4 or 5 already now. If I had the money for Evo 3, by that time I would probably consider Impreza GC8 also since I liked the boxer sound, lol.
This is the only car forum I have joined, lol. I'm just 20 years old only, how much can a 20 year old know about cars compared to all of you here who are older and more experienced.

i think easy way is get a real track car like Radical Sports Cars

From what the TS replied, it looked like he is trying to get a budget car. Radical Sports cars are not cheap...

Some members here started to show interest in cars during secondary school days. You will get
to know him soon, lately he no online only

GC8 got one for sale on ZTH, but this one is 4 door ones.

I think a budget project car, is still the Satria Neo R3, Clubsport definitely not easy to find or
no one is selling it.

Sounds interesting, but I don't know his username so how would I know when he will online, haha.

4 door is okay since it is practical. 4 door looked more like a sleeper car which does not attracts too much unwanted attention. 2 door GC8 is too much to hope for since it is so rare at here. The one you're talking about is a blue one right? I saw that GC8 selling for 47k. GC8 is so rare until I've only seen a 2 door version for once before at subang area. I never saw before any 4 door ones until today.

Satria Neo? Does the chassis have good potential like the old Satria chassis which is based on Mirage/Colt? In my humble opinion, the front design or the old Satria looked more intimidating if it is fitted with Mirage bumper or maybe Evo 3 bumper. I have a liking for cars in the 90s.

Once you replace you will have endorse again....

That means I need to stick with the old engine and cannot replace it with a newer one...

Satria / Putra 1.8 4G93 can be stroked and rebored to almost 2.2L. Ok what. Cheaper than Evo engine I think

Yeah and these days they're quite affordable... heard they handle well also.

But chassis rigidity cannot compare la to newer cars haha. :driver:

But that engine very rare as well right? A friend SE 4AGE both AT, sentra totally pull away easily.

Sentra with SR20VVL is really a monster. 4AGE totally no match for it...

I wonder if you guys know Mike Kojima and his Sentra.

I din't know Sentras could be this awesome before I saw his car. But still, for some reasons I just don't like FF layout vehicles.

Wow, what's the output? :stoned:

FF cars easy to control  Take Ford Focus RS for example :top:

If the 4G93T is stroked and rebored, can it offer similar output with 4G63T?

Sentra with SR20VVL is really a monster. 4AGE totally no match for it...

There are still the good old 1.6 litre high revving engines. 4A-GE, SR16VE N1, 4G92 MIVEC and B16B. Why can't the new engines offer such power as well...

Because modern people and the high cost of living, many are now focus more on FC and what
is value for money. No longer looking at power or performance but how long can the
car last them and how far can the car take them in terms of FC

My choice will be Altezza or E36. Driven both. Altezza is newer, so everything is still tight. Still high $$$.
E36 will have to be at least 325, 328 or best yet M3. Inexpensive and really fun. Lot of after market parts available.
Since you had FWD before, give RWD a try.

Just my .02

And now we have Vios, Almera and City for the 1.5 litre engine generation... For Mitsubishi, the Mirage Cyborg has gone down from being a performance car into an eco car on today. Sigh...

FF cars easy to control  Take Ford Focus RS for example :top:

Can't find the output bro, you'll have to estimate from the specs ady
Never drove a Focus RS before, you? Is it really that easy to handle?

I think this is one of the common dilemma faced by most petrol-heads. FC or Performance. Save money or enjoy the brutal acceleration. For me,I think the best solution is to have a daily driven low fc vehicle and a weekend track monster. But then again, how many people could really afford these without increasing their burden. In the end, it all comes down to $$$$$ sigh :smokin:

Anyhow, cRazYee, whats your plan now?

A JWT programmed factory ECU handles the task of engine management. Other than these external bolt ons, the engine remains internaly stock. Stock or not, it pumps out 200 whp and 153 lb/ft of torque an impressive sum. In the future a sleeved big bore, long rod bottom end, higher compression and headwork are in the wings as is future cam development with a goal of 230 whp.
This is on page 3...:driver:

They mention Nittio NT-01 tyres but picture is Toyo Proxes RA-1 tyres?...:hmmmm::confused:
