Engine Oil from Tesco

What oil do you normally use?
AEON has the Formula Shell (Shell USA) 5w30 FS oil for rm129/4ltr.
Most likely this weekend I'll be going to Tesco to take the wife grocery shopping so I'll inform afterwards if got anything interesting on promotion.

Its been some time since Tesco Melaka have offer on engine oil. Last Tuesday, prices are at all time high.
Repsol is there, very simple packaging yet tempting to try..hehehe.

My target now is 5l packaging
Is it just me or Tesco seems to be putting price for fun?

Usually the Shell Helix Ultra 5w40 @ RM119 last time
I heard they have Mobil 1 0W40 @ RM145..if got i plan to go sapu 1doz.

Last time I bought Mobil 5w40 FS for rm119/5ltr, not 4 ltr, so even cheaper.

Didn't manage to go to Tesco this weekend, only went to AEON Big which has the Formula Shell and the Mobil 5w40 FS but still at RM159/5L. Hopefully next weekend shopping I can go Tesco.

No more that lagu to sing edi... Now Tesco promotion on both Helix Ultra and Mobil 1 gold bottle around RM139.90. The cheapest I bought Helix Ultra at Seremban 2 Tesco with RM99.90 at 2012.

Now I using Formula Shell bought from Aeon at RM129.90. Feel lighter as it's 5w30 compare to Helix ultra 5w40.

Saw them a few months ago already, last week was there saw at RM155 now for Mobil 1 5w-50 and Shell Helix Ultra Pure plus model 5w-40

Went to Tesco Damansara last weekend, didn't see much. Supposed to have the Shell FS 5w40 on sale for rm139 but it was out of stock already. Maybe check other branches if got stock. Also got the Mobil1 5w50, rm145 if not mistaken and got stock.

AEON Big got the Mobil 5w40 FS for rm155/5ltr bottle, but early this year I bought that same oil in Tesco for only rm119.

Hahaha, yeah but I cannot recall if I bought before or after GST. Or maybe that time the GST impact had not yet trickled down. Probably the bigger impact is our poor MYR devaluation now.

Yesterday i bought 2 bottle of elf 700 semi syn for rm119 per bottle,5l packaging.
price doesnt seem to be going any lower than rm135 for the total 7000 i am eyeing on.

with current travel pattern will take another 2-3 mnth for oil change so just keep in the store and maybe magically the total drop to my favourite price of rm75 per bottle and give the elf to someone else at bargain price.

Can try Aeon engine oil. FS 5w-40 at RM99 for 4L. Aeon EO comes with API rating. At first I thought my friend was joking then I went and see for myself....



SS also have but at RM79

What oil actually is in that AEON packaging, anyone knows? Same also with the Tesco oil.
