So far any issues?

Everything running smooth so far. Slight pinging at 3000-3500 rpm but yesterday already filled in 97 vpower. Gonna see today if the pinging still there. I still need to find new socket for the TPS and maybe a new TPS sensor coz the sensor like loose a bit when I pull it even with the nut holding it tight.

still knocking but now at 3700-4000 rpm. lol. maybe needs a top overhaul after all since valve seal need replacement. oh well. gonna go back to my hometown in seremban tomorrow. see how its gonna handle. *fingers crosses*

Update: Engine doing good so far all the to Seremban and back to Subang Bestari. What I can see is that the pinging occurs around 3500-4000rpm when the aircon is on. No pinging when aircon is off. RPM drops when compressor kicks in. Gonna wait for spare shop to reopen. Need to change the engine oil (already done 1k++) coz I don't know what engine oil they used. I also need to flush the radiator and add new coolant. Hopefully, no new problems arise. Happy holidays!

Yup. Last night drove back via ELITE highway from KLIA with aircond off on power mode easily can go 160-180kmj. But when aircond on, 120kmj only due to the pinging. Haha

Nope. Not yet. Refill with RM50 of shell vpower again. Tested again with aircon off, no pinging. Pinging comes back again when aircon on.

try service your ac compressor (flush old oil and replace compressor oil as well as ac gass)

planning to do that as well as flushing the radiator and decarb the engine with threebond when my gaji comes in. pokai already this month.

That is what I mean. If considering top overhaul, save on de-carbon cost, and put it to top overhaul cost. Top overhaul they will scrap your piston clean........lol

decarb RM60, top overhaul RM1.8k. haha. so far white smoke comes out when I rev my engine while car is stop. I don't know if there is smoke while driving. Can't really see through the mirror but not much oil residue on the bumper near the exhaust so I guess no smoke while driving.

decarb RM60, top overhaul RM1.8k. haha. so far white smoke comes out when I rev my engine while car is stop. I don't know if there is smoke while driving. Can't really see through the mirror but not much oil residue on the bumper near the exhaust so I guess no smoke while driving.

Haha....Not only the RM60 amount but what I mean is no point decarb mah! if going to top overhaul....

If no oily residue in the exhaust tip, and white smoke when rev on idling then probably valve seal problem. My previous 3 door accord had the same problem.

Dipstick check confirms engine oil loss. Last time on the dyno there was a lot of smoke came out. Thomas of GTA told me it's probably the valve seal coz compression all ok.

I see, if compression ok, then it is the valve seals. Just do a top overhaul to get everything spanking new on top

Engine oil loss could be due to you rev driving.....hahhahahhahaha

If drive, got white smoke, engine kaput loh......but since compression is good then should be in good condition....

Don't waste your money on decarb if you're planning to overhaul. It's not going to solve anything especially when it comes to the valve seals. It'll be drivable so just leave it la.

This is why I don't like engine swaps.
