Is the rotor bigger size? If yes, have you checked whether you current rims can fit?:smokin:

Yah! you better post a tt thread, set place, time and date and see response first.....

No need to machine la.

Go buy yourself new slotted wira 1.6/1.8 rotors for about RM300+ or stock oem one without slots for RM150 at your friendly spart parts shop (all PCD100 x 4) and just plug and play the calipers into your car. But personally I'd buy a service kit and service it first before using. Then sell the old GSR rotors to a willing buyer or the recyling aneh for some $.

Oh buy 2 x 1L DOT 4 brake oil too and just flush out the old brake fluid. All super easy to DIY.

You know - while you're at it, a small spray can of high temp brembo red and spray the calipers too. They say that red calipers add 20bhp.

Too lazy to DIY and don't have the necessary tools. One shop in selayang quoted RM100 for both disc rotor conversion, RM80 for caliper service (no parts or brake kit change) and RM100 installation with brake fluid and bleeding. Sounds reasonable to me or can I get a cheaper price elsewhere?

Got 1 single tip muffler, 2 sets of wira 1.5 rear absorbers with springs (1 set 6 months old TRW absorber) and 1 set of 1.6 front absorber that I'm gonna go and sell at 'besi buruk'. Tried selling online but no one interested. haha.

That is ridiculously expensive la. The service kit ranges from RM10 to RM20 to buy. Brake oil about RM24 max per liter. Rotors no point custom because they are wear and tear parts and are exactly the same size as 1.6/1.8 Wira parts. RM100 if you buy OEM replacement from Bosch.

Seriously - wait for our DIY and we can do this for you or I can show you how to do it super easy. Then you'll be asking why did I pay so bloody much for something this easy.

Also, keep the ori suspension. Next time when you wanna sell the car can swap back to original setup and then sell your hi/lo separately for extra cash.

Did it come with the vacuum servo? I am sure the vacuum servo for GSR should be bigger. If use your 1.5 servo probably less effective....

Lucky I haven't send the brakes to the shop yet. HAHA! I think I can wait for the DIY session. As for the absorbers, no space to keep in the house. It's been in my trunk all these while. I'm not gonna sell the car due to sentimental value. Gonna keep it until govt make new rules old cars go to scrap. LOL.

Nope. Bought the calipers and rotors for RM150 only without knuckle from the seller. Quite cheap compare to others which are selling around RM350-450 for the front brakes with knuckle. I also bought a 4 spoke mitsubishi steering wheel with SRS in it mint condition for RM100. Haha.

I don't know what car ler.. Just know there's a mitsubishi logo only on it with SRS airbag. haha. Anyway, tried to install the steering just now DIY following Izso post but seems like the steering I bought does not have the copper horn strip. But my lancer 3 spoke got that.

Talked to the seller he said to come back to his shop and change. :bawling:

Eh take pics of your GSR brakes and show me. I wanna see.

If it is the same one as I had, you don't need a bigger servo. The 1.5 one is more than enough once you set it up with good brake pads. Since it's not dual piston, just a larger single piston the oil needed for the brakes isn't that much more la vr2turbo. No need oversized servo considering his car already has a rear disc setup, the servo is probably big enough.
