Where can repair lift bolt? (7 Gen)

Where can repair lift bolt? mine, bolt has break inside the tread. i have drill, but cant get the bolt out. any shop to recommend? shop at sunway can do? how about the cost?

it's not gonna be easy... you will need to reverse tap it out... if you mess up, then have to change the rocker arm... I heard total damage could be about RM1k.... PP Motorsport(Kepong) and Trial(Sungai Besi) has experience doing this.....

you gotta pray real hard b4 going to the workshop!! if it could be reverse tap out, then cheap cheap only.... :)

how much is the lift bolt actually if buy from spare parts shop or toyota? bcz we can actually take it out every 2 service then no probz unless u are heavy lifter...

99-2003 yr celica GTS need to change!bcos 99-03 lift bolt is old design very esy break or broken! cost 2pc lift bolt just RM16

question... wats the purpose of lift bolt? will it effect engine performance if its broken?

lift bolt securing the rocker shaft separates, allowing the shaft to rotate in its bore,this rotation,when it occurs, can cause misalignment of the oil feel passages to the rocker shaft, resulting in a lack of variable lift operation and low power at higher engine RPM.

searched around and it can be easily diy but if rosak then jam d...susah...why dont do diy lift bolt session??? then test compression as well...

update...better do lift bolt change with reputable workshop...otherwise if wanna diy then rm10 per pair...
