hi guys,

finally for the hard work...
the car should be ready for me on monday....
but my ride not as fast/garang as the brother ongs ride (fully mod).
seems have to cross the sea for TT after this.

finally had the ride checked by Thomas of GT Auto. the results were gr8 for the engine. only minor repairs such as new plugs and gasket for the manifold. however, there r sounds from the back wheel when traveling 100km/h n abv...below that, nothin. i suspect the bearing but they say if its bearing, the sound is audible @ low speed...since the sound only obvious @ 90 to 100km/h, will hv to double once the deal is through. any idea how much will the rear bearing costs? or does anyone hv such prob b4? it sounds like "voomm voomm voomm"...
should b able to get the ride tmr once i signed the documents n pay the balance...

my experience it's just tyre worn out 1 side...after trackday...

but sound thingy is very subjective to be described by words unless we are in/at the car.

I think it's shudn't be a big problem...send it for check slowly...

called few of my mech friends n most of them reckon its the "air" inside the AYC system...need to bleed n change the oil...will get the used car ppl to do it tmr or should i ask someone more experience to do it? what do u guys reckon? i guess its nothin serious really...

Preferably get someone with MUT to do it, as its quite tough to bleed the AYC system manually.

But yeah voom voom voom from the rear does sound like an AYC related thing haha

at the moment, banks offer the rates between 3.5 to 3.7 for the performance recondition car.
but now they sometimes required high deposit for it. nowadays the banks to avoid to loan recondition performance car due to some reason.

but you may try you luck...

what a day! finally my dream comes true! got hold on the key of my new ride...feels gr8! yes...i was able to hv a good spin on it...n nope, still havent solved the prob but will do it in my fren's shop this weekend. its not big deal. sounds like even the rear wheel bearing is konged. ask the dealer to subsidize n they agreed...upon closer look, saw few probs as well...some hairline cracks on the turbo manifold plus the brake line is leaking a bit....notice all these while having the alarm system installed today...hopefully its not big deal..:(

hope can join the TT soon n will b able to learn from sifus here n chk if everything is in working condition.
