hi guys, my a/c compressor is close to cacat already and is apparently leaking gas according to a guy from the shop. The compressor being old I can understand because I can hear the compressor's sound when I turn it on and it sounds like the SVT/BT shims.
He suggested that i modify to put in a denso a/c compressor which will cost about rm500 but requires some modification and says that he has had experience modifying the bracket for the BT engine. He also says that there is no point trying to use the stock one as a lot of people have had multiple problems with the stock a/c in the past.
Just wondering how true is all this? And also if I want to go the cheapest way, what would be the best thing to do? do i

2. get back a 20v svt or bt a/c compressor
3. get any other a/c compressor that will suit with little modification
