Choice of Project Car

to be honest, this topic isnt about I'm getting the car or not. Currently financial situation doesn't approve that.

this is more about we discuss, what kind of project car we can have in malaysia.
with zero tradeoff for performance

well spoken, good chassis / handling is very important.

we can make any trash car fast, but does the chassis worth spending time and cash on it?

I saw your edit at your first post in this thread. You wrote '4. Nissan Silvia S13/14/15 - RM 50k Range'. For S13/S14 50k range is possible. But S15 is around 80k-120k range. If not road legal, then different la. By the way, you can add in 180SX to the list since it is very similar and related to S13 Silvia.

How about this? Too bad it is automatic though... This is very rare indeed.

By the way, regarding your list and ranking on the first post, there are some cheaper alternative for EG3/EG6. The older EF9 Civic (original EF9 is rare and most of them are converted) or CRX is a cheaper alternative. Those two are lighter than EG6, EK9 and other newer generation Civics so they offer a better power to weight ratio. With B16B Type R or B18C Type R transplanted into them, they can be quite fast.

If rare, not sure easy to mod or not? Or could be expensive to mod.
Drove this once like 20 over years ago....:smokin:

Agree. And spare parts are going to be difficult to obtain as well. Perhaps 300ZX Twin Turbo is better.

Sorry, I din't know. No wonder 300ZX is not common around the roads. I guess 3000GT/GTO also is expensive to maintain...

Haha! Ya, GTO is not cheap to maintain. There is one around Kepong last time. White one. Now
owner adi change R35. So GTO was seen somewhere else. Must be new owner.

300ZX V6 ma, always not cheap to maintain a V6. But then when one has the money, 300ZX is a nice car actually. If compare to Fairlady models, I like the 300ZX (Z32) more. Z31 looks good as well.

GTO and 300ZX got potential to mod until very high hp. When you mention about maintaining V6, I straight away thought about Danz and his 6A12TT V6.

20k totally worth la. Some more the owner is experienced. But for sure my family won't allow me to get such a car at now. My family members are monitoring me closely whenever I drive. They always accuse me that I will race at the streets if I am driving alone. :banghead:

Ipoh roads rarely jam, that's why many are driving fast. For me, I prefer acceleration rather than constantly going for top speed. Too dangerous.

I also cannot drive so much already because I'm going for uni very soon. No car for me over there. :bawling:

Certain roads in Ipoh sure jam during peak hours or during school dismiss hours. You mean you got stuck before at Ipoh?
