Gauging interest on plasti dip

I used 2 cans because the PD is very transparent, after 4 coats its still transparent over black. and did not use white PD as undercoat thats why i used 2 cans.... But good also la, insulate kau kau against engine heat. hopefully got 0.5hp increase =P I'll post more photos after installation. Currently its set one side to fully dry and its been 2.5 days already

The air just passes through to enter the runners and in to the combustion chamber.... problem with this stupid L-series engine is they place the intake manifold ABOVE the engine head. Not like B/K-series where the intake manifold is away from the beautiful engine head. I guess for compact design purposes....

Damn, my wagner hvlp sprayer kaput last week saturday cause by electric short circuit, now the motor pump died d and i need to get a new gun to do continue my project :(

i don't think it's the sprayer problem but the power socket problem that i use. I'm using the power socket from the condo maintenance store and when i'm doing the test spray the socket shock circuit and end up my sprayer motor fried. Even my extension cable got fried.

Must gt those anti-shock kind of socket. I think I remember seeing it before. Anti-shock type. Example if raining and etcs.

Well i'm not going to continue my project using the same socket source again. 1st time borrow the power socket source from them and it already fried my sprayer. I'll try to send my sprayer for repair if possible,if not i will get the earlex hvlp sprayer then. I'll continue my project at my home town, much more safer :)

ACE HQ is in taman melawati, near zoo negara. They got alot of xylene there but not much PD choice. I bought 12 cans of PD 14oz in publika and 2 gallons of xylene in taman melawati. So far i don't see any black spray can available in this 2 place.

RM708, got to be loaded to spend on that

So if PD whole Car, need to spend at least RM1400. Almost Same price as respray whole car :hmmmm: RM200 more can respray whole car

Hahaha...i'm not a black colour fan,i only sapu red colour.
for the whole car i only need 9 - 10 cans of PD,it's the manual mix can not spray can. 1 can of PD = 429ml mix with 429ml xylene = 858ml. so u do the calculation. i actually safe around rm400-rm500 spraying whole car with PD

Ya quite true actually, buying spray cans cost a bomb. But how do u measure? You use some container to measure the amount ?

you can either use back the PD container to measure or u can buy the measurement cup at hardware shop. I only use the PD container coz easier.
