Yeah, what's the reason for angling it downwards?

from the pictures attached, it's obvious that there's enough space in the engine bay for a regular air filter / box set up.

this intake manifold should be able to clear on my engine as well ....... i had a quick peek at my car during lunch just now

u can look the pic..that is civic eg..not dc5...the front paner is empty..for dc5 engine bay..intake is close to the front paner..mosly they design this intake is for track (drag racing) use..they can directly bring the air to the engine n getting good gain..from the fresh air..

Now, these rock ! should have even better gain compared to the RBC!

I wonder, what kind of filter pipe routing to be implemented??? the TB end faces downwards?

Very unique 2 piece design ..........

ported RBC intake up to 360 CFM will made more power 10-15 whp then this intake manifold its even make close whp to IPS 85 thorttle body on same setup engine
if have time i will post the link of the review RBC still the best
