Got 3 version :
1. Fully Carbon Fiber : Rm 1300 scope can open
2. Fiber evo 3 mod on original Perdana bonnet Scope can open - Going for 550
3. Evo 4 scoop black full painted on perdana bonnet black Rm 800

Actually had bad experience with the Fiber bonnet! A key lock additional bonnet lock also terbang.. my car roof koyak!

pros:
-less mechanical failure since only 1 turbo vs 2 turbo.
-better power

Cons
-piping would be costly
-mechanic willing to service the engine

why not go for evo?

was planning to go single turbo (AR70) when my rear TD02L turbine fails on me,
but surprisingly it didn't & lasted more than 5 years without fail,
the rear turbine tends to overheat causing the rubber gaskets to fail,
but I had to raise my hood about 1" so that it wont overheat.

if you have the funds for single conversion, by all means go ahead & get it done.
there will be turbo lag compared to 2 snails.

Hai Brothers,I Have some Question regarding Perdana V6 Twin Turbo 6a12tt. where to get Timing Belt & Engine Mounting for this Twin Turbo? i went some workshop,they're said use the same V6 timing belt & engine mounting.is that true? i'm gonna change spark plug as well also water pump etc..any Recommended workshop around selangor,puchong,sunway area? can i know the price also for Engine Mounting & Timing Belt set,Spark plug,water pump.Thanks in advance guys.

ya 6a12tt using the same timing belt set as 6a12, go for dayco brand, price I cant remember
spark plugs & water pump also same as 6a12.

"when I just had a thought about upgrading" my engine shows me the middle finger..

I think I'm bit late into the TT craze but i Just got a halfcut TT rs.. weird part is RS version but turbos are black tag TD025M rather then TD025L..


1. Adjustable Cam Pulley
2. Coil on Plug
3. S90 throttle body
4. Lighten Crank shaft pulley
5. TD025L twin t
6. Evo 6 inter-cooler
7. Safc II
8. Full Stainless steel turbo piping
9. iridium plugs
10. Lighten flywheel

What would be the ideal exhaust piping size for a TT? 2.5" or 3"..
Anything else to upgrade the TT?

there are some things you can salvage from your 6a12 NA to enhance performance. Anyway 2.5" should be ok. else would be loud.

Yeah Bro.. actually many of the items above from my NA..
Sm guys offered me a TD04 dunno from which car but pnp on a TT.. the wastegate only very prob very noisy.. Im bit scared.. the standard block cant take the twin TD04..

Now am doing the refurbish of the engine and the list of thing are to be fitted.. all ready at the workshop..

Using the 4wd tank.. is better as the exhaust piping can be done better?

Yes..Using 4wd tank u will have better exhaust setup because less bend required. And you can plug AWD if u want, hahaha

Stock setup should be good. Unless you're planning to do more than stock, quite few part need to change other than injectors for reliability.

Perhaps bro Danz and vr2 can help..I'm using 4p only

TD02M is from auto
TD02L is from manual version,
u could upgrade to TD04 but u can feel the lag.

the ideal piping size is 2.5",
previously I was using 3.5" piping from evo3 (front to mid 2.5, mid to rear exhaust 3.5") but during high boost the car will jerk as I did not upgrade the fuel pump.
