Putra's ECU

guys,
Anybody know Putra year 2000 or 2001 equiped with with ECU, Mitsu or Siemens ECU?

How can i differential the ECU model from Putra just to look at the engine?

As i know Wira's ECU can be recognised from the throttle body, so how a bout Putra?

mostly pre 2000 proton cars are equipped with siemens. to differentiate whether siemens ecu or mitsu ecu, siemens ecu if i'm not mistaken there is a blue socket on top of the distributor while engine comes with mitsu ecu doesnt have any.

mitsu ecu are more tuneability (flexible) while siemens ecu e.g used on satria R3 is very much fixed and locked.

if i'm not mistaken the code of putra's ecu is 2468 or 5537

correct me if i'm wrong :)

and 5537 is putra's

other than the distributor, can differential them by looking at the throttle body like Wira as i shown in the picture?

where can we find or see the 5537 / 2468 ECU code?

Dude, I think you can check it out with a mech hehehe They should know where to look and what to look for hehehehe

but sometimes we cant just depend on mech, they might tipu us ler. so our own knowleadge is important also.
