Hi guys,

Need your advice. If in an accident, the chassis is damaged and requires some "bending / straightening" back, what's the best way to DIY?

I've seen work shops just hooking a metal chain to a pulley system, and slowly pull the car's chassis back. Wouldn't that cause the whole chassis to mis-align? Should they heat up the damaged part (NOT till in liquid state) so it can shape better without affecting the whole chassis?

i only accident minor... last time i posted up b4... i DIY knock back... jus use hammer ... rubber hammer... if u dun hav rubber hammer then use clothe cover de hammer head then apply alot duck tape... tis is to stop de paint drop off then u knock...

All tis knocking need patient.... but it is very easy to b done.

Bro,

If it is the body, then it would be easy, as there are tools in the market. Just need skills on knocking it back to the original shape.

But as for chassis, it is a much tougher metal, and needs bigger tools. Alignment would be in question too.
