2nd hand value for MR-S

Greetings every1,
Just wanted to ask u guys that i've been thinking of getting a MR-S as my 3rd car.
I've a friend who wants to sell his MR-S year 2001 manual for RM125K.... everything is standard... What do u all think...? Is that suppose to be the value?

Well, its hard to say as the car is your friend's MR-S. Cant comment on price as it would be indicative of the fair market price around (see classifieds & motor trader). from RM120-140K. depending on year & mods (hard top, kit etc).

Sad that your friends wants to sell as it is really a nippy car. Not the highest rated in HP but a lightly modded MR-S can keep up with Scoobies & EVOs. surprising?

cant remember title but its sixty something. i have the video of it. (VCD). sometimes you ca buy from "music valley ~ jusco" as they sell some nice "hot version" VCDs.

I was lucky to get it there.

I finally got the MRS from mutiara motors @ hartamas...It's all RM121 OTR with aftermarket exhaust and other greddy bits and parts. Now its all up to jpj to release the road tax and I hope to join u guys for a drive in future.

And if you do come to watch SSO terry, watch out for a silver with CF bonnet. Legend has it this MR-S is as fast, if not faster than Elises. :D

Shit my GF's MR-S check light came on again in the evening at 5pm after my
she starts the car.
was ok in the morning.

best part was the car still perform like before.

CEL can happen when (for spyders i know) as the modern cars ("i"-intelligent also help more to indicate minor problems ;

i) minor leak in exhaust pipe (--->me ii) not closing/tightening the fuel cover after filling (happens to some overseas MRS)
iii) faulty O2 sensors
iv) possible leak air/flow intake
v) etc

go to a shop to diagnose/isolate the CEL problem
