About filter. Should I use genuine Mitsu oil filter costing RM2x instead of normal RM8 oil filter? What the difference?

My VR used to use the Mitsu RM20+ filter, then change to Proton RM8 ones. Used for many many years already....:driver:

Just get bardhal. Both are reputed.

Proton oil filter for Wira got one big one and small one. According to spare part shop is for 1.3 and 1.5 but when ask my mechanic he say the same. Just check your car got space to fit or not. My Mitsu uses the small one and my Sonata wgich are Mitsu based engine uses the big unit....

Mercedes not using Petronas......hahahahaha:biggrin:

HAHAHA, only applicable to Cycle and Carriage lah.
Not sure if they are still using it or not.
The new A class cannot say lor.
 
Engine revs more freely when using Mitsu oil filter, a foreman told me. However, my senses were too numb to notice the difference.
