Lb johnson route still is interesting at night. Day time too many cars and lorries. Can't drive fast.. :driver:

Isn't that dangerous having the engine shut down at high speed? I thought it's just gonna drag your car at the speed limit and the car can't go more than the limit set?:hmmmm:

Nah, not dangerous. Just that you felt that the engine just hold itself from going further. Kind of potong stim but oh well, JDM vehicles are like that back in the days

Meaning mine got it laa? Coz the car can't go beyond 180kmh. Just stayed at that speed like cruising.. :hmmmm:

Just get a pivot speed meter V, voila.....

Just to double confirm, your engine head cover proton or Mitsubishi? If proton, then no speed cut

No laa.. I just wanna test the max speed of the car on power mode. Can only go 180 max at 5k+ rpm. :bawling: can't wait for top overhaul and pnp. I hope no more sluggish/lag

Before you mod to go faster, remember to mod to make it stop faster too and also the suspension to keep it in check.....lol:biggrin:

2nd April DIY TT for the brakes! hehe. for suspension, so far the coilovers are doing a great job. love the handling and it have more comfort than previous sports proride mix with performax springs combo. and the bigger size re003 provides the grip i needed. :burnout:

So after brakes mod on 2nd April can go engine mod all the way......lol:biggrin:

Mitsubishi, australian half cut, 240kmh speedometer.

Not sure whether Australian half cuts have speed cuts or not
From your description, I don't think that is a speed cut. If its a speed cut, for example, I hit 185km/h then suddenly I lost instant power, engine drop to like 175km/h and I got power again (like the injectors shut off during that moment)

Next you need thicker anti roll bars

I have a front 23mm ARB and rear 12mm OEM Proton ARB for sale. PM me if you want it

any idea how thick is c99 wira front and rear arb? will it be too stiff in a satria?

If I am not mistaken, your front should be 18-20mm, rear should be standard 12mm OEM
Only first badges of the platform comes with 23mm front ARB from factory, example the 1993 1.6L batches

You can measure yourself too actually

It's 1995 wira 1.8, I plan to take the front and rear arb of the wira to put in my 1.5 satria body..my concern is would it be too stiff causing excessive under/oversteer anyway I will measure it when it's taken out

Is your C99 engine SOHC/DOHC, I assume if its the DOHC it should be the same as the Wira/Satria/EVO 1/Putra's suspension setup. Only the SGTi's front suspension is the same as the EVO 2 and 3.

Yeap it's the c99 dohc, so it should be 23 mm front and 13mm rear is it?

Not so sure, but if it is then you don't have to change, if its not then you have an option to change :)
Do contact me if you're interested in the 23mm front ARB :D
