4g91 or 4g93?

I'm actually wondering will 4G91 give better FC than 4G15? If it is, then 4G91 sounds rather tempting.

Let me ask something. I have a Saga Iswara 4G13 at home. The engine was not running that well. A lot of white smoke coming out and it wasn't really well maintained. I think it won't even fetch much value if the car is sold.

So, I'm thinking, is it possible to put in something like a 4G91 EFI to it? I heard that the mounting for Saga may not fit in 4G9 series engine. 4G1 and 4G6 engines seems to fit.

Hmm that I don't know coz not familiar with Saga or the very old Lancers.

I'm not familiar too. Saga/Lancer Fiore C10 is like 2 generations before Lancer CB. Engine bay looks quite different especially around strut tower area.

I check with my fren. He do before iswara 4g91.
Mounting different.
Also, battery relocate. Space issue.

I did found some photos of 4G91 Iswara from google. But not a lot of results. Battery relocated to accommodate the air box right?

Think so. Can be done but, mounting already not same.
Duno can endorse.
4g61 is your best bet. But is in dinosaur age. spare parts, rare.
Repair iswara engine, make it secondary car.

As far as I know, even the crossmember for Saga is different than the one in Wira, Satria or Putra. Gearbox mounting is different too. Maybe the one beside the timing belt can be altered, I'm not sure. Saga mounting at there is like L shaped.

Too much trouble it seems to swap engines for Saga. 4G6 series are too old and parts are difficult to get. 4G9 got mounting issues.

The spelling that writer use is really damn funny.

If mounting got issues, then better not do it, unless track car.......lol:rofl:

Looks like the Saga Iswara will be junked away or something. Or maybe just try to fix up the 4G13 and use it as spare car whenever my Wira needs to do any major fixing next time.

Agree, use as secondary car. Until you get dream car. Then wira use as secondary car.
Better than u paying insterest.

Still long way to go before dream car.

I agree with you on paying interest. Most new cars did not interest me much. Even if they do, the thought of paying monthly installment scare me away. Like the latest Proton Saga 1.3 manual that I saw recently. Got the price list paper last week.

RM36,800. Down payment RM3700. Monthly installment for 7 years is RM486 a month. That is like RM5832 a year. Yearly insurance is at RM1209. This is just the base spec Saga but also probably the one I like the most since it is the only manual variant.

My Wira which I got it 3 years ago had gone through a lot of maintenance and fixes. Total up until today is not more than RM4k for 3 years of usage. Things that I have changed includes driveshaft, clutch set, 4 new tyres, timing belt, recon alternator, various oil seals, 2 batteries, new hood and a few more things.
