Wah... dun swear FL Auto like that la... the boss is very good one actually, only sometimes he like that. That time I bought an AE101 EFI fuel tank and AE111 rear abs from him, can't fit on my car so I returned back to him and he refund without asking any questions.

Actually if really hard, I'm thinking of custom make emblem using laser cutting machine. But if do 1 pcs, will be expensive la... unless some members here want it too. Plan to laser cut it using 5mm aluminium sheet and polish it until bling bling... haha

Finally, a video of my Toyota LE (EE80) during road test, just after converted to Levin AE111 4AGE 20V Blacktop. Was running on crappy stock exhaust piping (1.5") and cheapo local 2" exhaust. Btw, this was done without air filter... just the intake plenum. Enjoy the sound... :X-:

levindash, wanna get silvertop already ah? Better think properly weh... later a lot of headache and "teksi" sound. If got money, just go for 6spd BT lah. But don't buy in Ipoh lah.. price got jacked up like mad. Last time I asked around in Ipoh and the price was around RM3.5K for SVT. Majap told me "16v, 20v, BT or SVT all also same price... all RM4K" Siao...

Bro 2O2R, how's your car? Done the exhaust ady? How much they charge u? I passed by Fairpark around 5.30pm today but I guess you had already went back by that time. I just got my AE111 rear disc installed in my LE and workmanship cost me RM180. Its a bit more exp coz the foreman had to custom weld the 4 connecting arms to the knuckles. I've also changed to Monroe Sensa-Trac AE101 abs for RM50 a pcs, matched with Kayaba NewSR springs.

RM3.5K is not bad, manual BT right?
Anyways, KL area is still cheaper as I got mine for RM3.1K with front&rear disc, fuel pump and 106K millage.
KL price for SVT should be below RM2.7K coz last month bro 2O2R bought BT auto for below RM2.5K and low millage. Maybe bro levindash might wanna get BT auto first since its cheaper.

Ya lah..... a few years ago most ppl play BT always very lucky and get chun chun stuff with the h/cut for low price. Nowadays all BT h/cut also sold for stock, which I believe the perf parts taken out prior to sales.

Sorry I didn't call you yesterday. Couldn't get my piping done coz there're too many customers waiting, so I left for K. Kangsar to pick up my rear shox & discs. I'm taking leave tomorrow to get it done. Wanna yum char ?

Yup, I got my BT auto h/cut for RM 2.4k with 53k+ mileage on it. I think it's a rather reasonable price.:_: Like 7 said, it depends on your luck, really.

A few years back, SVT were only selling as low as RM 1.8k in KL. I didn't buy at that time coz I thought the price will fall further but of course I was wrong. However, somebody told me that nowadays the cheapest among the 4A family's still the SVT, being not so popular, I don't know why.

Maybe bro levindash might wanna get BT auto first since its cheaper.

Levindash, I think if you're short on your budget now, you'd better wait a little longer & get yourself a manual trans coz the auto trans version may not be suitable for a young man like you.:_: For my wife to send kids to school & old man like me, ok la.

You're absolutely right. I saw with my own eyes in a h/cut shop in Ipoh when they were unloading the h/cuts from the container one time. A GSR h/cut was fitted with an upgraded ECU, they straight away took it out & refitted with a std ECU !:angry_smile: I pity whoever bought that h/cut.

Anyways, what engine oil are you currently using with your BT?

You using 2.3" piping with bullet right? Straight piping or follow back the ori curve?
I went to exhaust shop last week and they don't have 2.3" bullet.

So which bullet/mid box size to match the 2.3" piping? I plan to do up my exhaust already. If use 2.5" bullet with 2.3" piping, is it good?

I was quoted RM190 for straight piping and RM220 for curved piping, both galvanized steel at OU exhaust Slibin.

Btw, do you know the guy near ACS Ipoh school that mods toyota?

im using endless semi synthetic,

yea 2.3" ori curve piping, center bullet take at the chop shop only hehehe.... if u go to buy also just RMxx only, should not more then RM50 la i think....
if use 2.5" center bullet i think no problem also la...
