Anyone has a 3s-gte transplant ?

Hi guys, I m new here , just wonder anyone here got a
3s-gte transplant ? I have a corona with 3s-gte , would
like to know more fren that have the same engine so can
exchange information about the mod.

from a celica , I got 305whp with 1.5bar boost , how about

Yeap, I m using a sard ecu, but the fuel is too rich,I need
to install a safc to tune down the fuel in certain rpm , the
food thing is no boost cut.

This engine is good , I am still running it with stock internal
part , only change the piston because I blow it once !! :)

What r u guys driving ? I know some fren driving very fast
20V and supercharger .

wahlan eh.. 1.5bar is more than double the stock boost lei.... what piston are you using?

I am using nissan fair lady piston.

you bored your cylinder wall 1mm to 87mm for the fairlady piston ?

yeap, because the cylinder wall already scratch , so direct bore it to 87.5mm lah,
no need to headache.

compression not too sure lah , I got use a 1.5mm metal gasget, stock is 8.5:1 , now
dunno already , but low rev torque very good, no serious turbo lag, power kick in
around 3K rpm, when reach 3500rpm can feel like being "kick" from the back.

what is the size of your exhaust? 3"?

slighly upgrade won't affect the engine reliability lah , I read in some article saying that
stock 3s-gte is strong enough to withstand 300hp.
I am running on 2wd only,FF setting, don't dare to modify corona to 4wd. yes I am
using 3" piping.
Need to ask your something, what kind of clutch set are you using now ? mine one
slip already, now looking for a clutch kit than can hold the power. any idea where I
can get one ? I have ask N1 , excedy, they don't have any racing clutch kit for 3S.

if using stock ecu, the engine check light will on if boost more than 1.2bar , I have
this problem before with the stock ecu , can install a fcd to eliminate this problem,
but becareful on the fuel supply when running high boost .
Harris3S, how your engine ? are you using a mr2 or celica engine ? how is the power
on seg body ? must be damn fast and crazy when turbo kick in ...
