the choice is depend on u, k&n is million mile warranty and it can be clean....

so for long term is worth the price you pay.....

but i not sure bout HKS.....

agree with mivecmerah, auto is for pleasure driving so i would suggest drop in!

bout the HKS super power flow aka mushroom head u mention, alot of consideration must be taken and the filter must be place in the right location.

Ronald, using a drop in vs a panel filter is not about sound effect or anything other thing like that..the fact is, using a drop in filter seem to give better high end torque as compared with open pod..unless you make a box to enclosed your open pod then its a different story..most of the folks have been using drop ins and their happy with it..to use open pod, you need to fabricate stainless steel pipes for the filter to be located.

yo bro, why gen2 interest u eh.. batch 04 comes with the first batch ecu which is known as abit more ok... no wonder u look for batch 04 eh..
mine is made in 2005 with batch 2004 ecu.. m/t
