the problem is that at TDC, the VG pistons is not as the same height as the block deck (VG pistons actually lower than the block). have to skim the block a bit to make it same height as pistons @ TDC. if use stroker crank can la.
the cc increase is due the larger bore but the stroke still the same when retaining the same crank & con rod.... normally the block need to be deck around 1.3 to 1.5mm depending on the user request.. this will effect the compression ratio of the engine.
The compression high of the VG and Toyota piston that mostly used in VR4/EVO is lower than the VR4/EVO piston compression high.
