I think because this is subjective. Some people prefer it and some don't. If they use a cheap dressing and especially if they overapply, the seats will be a real pain to sit in. It will be oily and can stain clothing. Thus some places only dress the dashboard and door board.
Unless there are people who uses real good quality dressing and knows how to apply it skillfully.

But if they are going to clean the leather they need to dress it back, if not, then don't clean.
You don't expect most customers to DIY the leather dressing, after the shop have cleaned. If they do, they might as well have DIY the cleaning too.....ha! ha!![]()
:wavey:I prefer DIY cleaning my leather upholstery but I don't know how and what to use.
Yes ive seen DIY enthusiast take out the car seats to do interior cleaning, dressing etc.
But regret to say Im the lazy type....
Prefer to let the people do the cleaning...
While dressing with cream is easy....
Just sapu on it!
Like sapu cat! Not the type of sapuing on bed of course! That requires skills & know how and specific spots too!:wavey:
