but dis is old car....n got lot of potential inside.....
when learn drift u can noe more better when stil in beginner......
dis car will train got good tecnique......

yea....need to require good skill to control it n time to understand dis car....
ermm.....like Katsuhiro Ueo

dont really agree.... Fc also need skill what? rear wheel drive, front engined.. if you drift, trottle too much, to overshoot and end up not dirfting.. too little trottle, you bang the wall behind.. any car also need skills to drift or drive..

unless you're talking about a rear wheel drive, mid engined lar.:cyclops:

my 10 kupang.

elsm, was just about to reply ur comment after reading the post....
everyone is talking about skills needs to master before driving 86 tp push out it's potentials, but how about FC..? are you guys quoting that skills is not involved here?? anyway, guessed elsm here is kinda read my mind. kekekekekee

sorry to say, rotary for me....looks above all.

anyway, what rollakid here have to say is actually correct. The 1.3 is not actually 1.3. That's why they're never categorised with the lower cc cars in races. That's the beauty of rotary. Pay lower road tax for higher power. kekekekekeke
Not that road tax really matters. It's the power of automotive engineering.

Do agree on one thing though.....the 86 is an overated car to me. Price increase like mad since Initial-D brought the fame back to this old car. I guessed alot of ppl would agree with me when I put out this comment "Every Tom Dick & Harry think they would be able to drift after getting 86".

Nice debate going on here but sorry to say....worthless thread. Basically it's up to ones preference and also budget.

b00n : not really a worthless thread as there are some replies from people with hands on experiance with both cars laying the smackdown on hachi-worshippers like me .

too much pluspy video and initial d is baddddddddddd .

edit - so if KT / Takumi drove a FC , would we be worshipping the FC like the 86 ? lol

wah so fast got reply..

infernal.. i really agree with you la bro... if takumi drive a FC also ppl will worship the FC.. weird lol..

b00n: long live rotary =)

lol thats one of the best part.. but then you get less torque from such a "big" engine.

ae86 being too famous is both good and bad for me. good is because i can find all sort of aftermarket parts for my old ke70. bad thing is they cost a bomb.

there's once i thought about dropping in a 13bt into my car, but then i worried that my car would shatter apart even with the stock performance, so i go with 20v instead, and at the same time able to keep it all toyota.

but i have to admit that with the right muffler rotary gives off one of the best exhaust note lar.. whenever my neighbour fires up his FC i sure know one XD (if i'm not on my headphone lar..)

i also go for fc but poket need to be quite full if own it coz last time i saw a fc at sunway owner spend rm 18,888 for 1 turbo and setting but worthit coz it is 800 bhp, crazy man and the sound..... superb.

cars

For me somehow looks of a car is slightly more importatnt then the power..

I'd prefer the 86 compared......

But will never give in for the FD

i have seen a AE86 modify with a sss engine... n man the AE86 can run... so i think i lik AE86 more...

FC Savana is a classic sport car....
however, 86 is never meant to be a sport car or performance car...
maybe that's the beauty whereby u could really maximise the potential of the car if you know how to.
But like I said before; still prefer FC......that's personal preference when it comes to choosing car

is there any engine more powerfull than rotary engine 20Bt?? ???
8sec 175MPH~~~~~~~~~~

bro; u can't asked that type of question...
obviously A bugatti veron would have much more power and is quoted as the fastest car currently which can overtake F1 car......
Ferrari, Lamborginni, Mustang, Dodge etc....
Than u got Nissan, Toyota, Mitsh, Honda which also produce powerful engines in their ranges....
So my advise....never ask this type of question.

as a daily car, i'll choose AE86... dump in 4age engine inside, good for everyday city drive....

if i'm looking into performance and drive the car once a week, i'll go for FD.... remember a thing, rotary engine are fuel guzzlers and spare parts are hard to get...

eh.. no need dump in 4age lar... it already came with one lolx

bebee sound abit like a rotary fanboy.. 8 sec to 175mph, izit stock standard? if not then there's alot more engine that can beat that time after some modification.

8sec 175MPH~~~~~~~~~~

go my supra video thread find a 7 second drag run la , powered by ori 2J lol

hmmmm......one word, go look up the 4 rotor 767B; it was banned from the Le Mans after beating the shit out of Ferrari, Jaguar, (add whatever car you fancy) track specials.

If im not mistaken, it was rated at 750bhp NA. Keep in mind that it was kept at a conservative trim as the Le Mans is a 24 hour ENDURANCE race.

I've read somewhere that if the powerplant was unrestricted, it can easily touch 1200bhp in NA trim, please also look out for tri-turbo 20Bs that have clocked 1300bhp.
