drive with switch on emergency light during heavy rain

just got a ques guys... some forummers have said that when the hazard light IS on, the vehicle must be stationary... silverfish pointed out that "If your car is a hazard ie. have some sort of problem, going very slowly, broken lights, stalled or stopped for whatever reason (puncture etc.) then you have to switch on your hazard lights".

So my ques is, if you windscreen breaks while you driving, do you continue driving with ur hazard light on OR do u stop by the side of the road with ur hazard light on while waiting for help?

Actually, if your car is not in proper working condition, bad wheels, some sort of engine problem, very very low on fuel, broken headlights or tailights, lots of smoke coming out the back, broken windscreen, etc. You shouldn't be driving it at all. You should stop at the side of the road, in a safe spot that is easy to spot by other road users, deploying triangles and hazard lights while waiting for help.

But of course sometimes you may just want to try your luck and slowly get to where you want to go. Being a driver myself, I can understand this. Use common sense lor. If you really really need to continue driving (to get to shelter or help etc.) then try your best not to get in any ones way or put other motorists in danger. Deploying your hazard light in this case would be one way to get other motorists to avoid you as much as possible. Try to practice proper judgement.

Of course, if it raining heavily, if you have a broken windshield, you shouldn't be driving at all.

Two days ago while coming back from Mid Valley going towards Federal Highway two cars were stationary near the blind spot corner which is a few hundred meters away from the Federal Highway. Those two cars a wira and a kancil were involved in an accident and to make matters worst they have to park their car near a blind spot corner and they did not even deployed a triangle.

Reminds me of a story of this one fuckhead who decides to park his car right in front of a motorcycle lane exit (for whatever reason), causing a motorcyclist to ram straight into the back of his car whilst exiting the lane. Some people do not spare any thought at all towards other people. Not to mention exhibit any sign of common sense. Baffling.

U think thats bad ah..... When i had a puncture. I stopped by the emergency lane and purposely placed a warning triangle a good distance away to act as a buffer zone for me.
The best bit after i was done changing tyres and walking towards my smacking brand new warning triangle some bloody fat mofo who doesnt buckle up in a beaten up piece of junk come hurtling down my path, clobbered over my traingle and carried on driving. stupid....
Best bit she knew that happened and she carried on driving without even a hint of apologizing or dared to look at me.... Maybe it was her perogative for her to run down the triangle coz being rush hour, u get idiots using the emergency lane as the 4th lane.

Oh well.... One day she will kena for her stupidity.....

I noticed not many people here seem to have heard of a rear fog guard lights......
