Exhaust mod on perdana v6

hehe.
jokes aside, its good to have shift light for manual cars.
at least if u blast ur music very loud, u can be reminded to shift up even if u cant hear ur engine revving..

the sound kinda berdengung.
perhaps u should take the video from the side, not from behind.
one more take....

just find Blitz Nur Spec muffler and ur V6 sound will be very nice..
my setup in the Youtube video is long time ago, now no more sound like that..

the mivec V6 sound cannot get la. u can just get the V6 sound without the mivec scream..

I wanna ask you guys with good ears to hear my engine's health, at low RPM(3000), could hear the tappet sound clearly, is this normal? I recently changed to fully synthetic oil and the sound became clearer, what is the best and cheapest solution to get it fixed?I don't plan on changing all the valves.

sorry for bad quality, used my friend's phone :D

yep.
the cheapest solution, use semi-syn or mineral oil.
the more expensive solution is changing the tappet to newer generation..

but if change tappets, in the future it will still make noise rite?
u could adjust the gapping on the tappets too.

i heard one of ma friend said ... if u drive agressively, the next day morning u can hear the tappet sound louder and clearer ..

and if u maintain a normal driving on the next day .. will notice the the tappet sound will become lesser on the next day start ..

he was saying something auto adjustment which i really dont understand.. anyone knows about this?

long ago, i found a link of a next gen hydraulic tappets for sale in aussie forum. cant remember where..
but its expensive la.

Wanna ask a question about adjusting pv6 valve clearance, one of my friend said it does increase a slight performance and it should be adjusted after high mileage. How much would it roughly cost to adjust it and does it really give any benefit?

ur extractor is standard rite? no need to change if u dont have the money.
just leave it like that. if u have money, get those Hotbits extractor.
found a fella selling v6 extractor just like Hotbits in ZTH..
if u want to custom also can..
but just do this first : after the flexi pipe (nenas), use 2.3" (inner diameter) pipe sampai muffler. muffler also put 2.3" inlet.

v6 NA engine max torque is at 4500rpm. that's why u feel after 4000rpm its pulling the best..

i've also measured the stock piping. cant remember exactly but i think its around 1.8-1.9" inner diameter.
we use only the inner diameter. outer diameter can be big depending on the thickness of the metal..
sorry for interruptin

2.3 piping, can use this sett for auto bro? :)
