Dogs pee on my car wheel

Maybe I have to take time to teach and behaviour-train the Napoleon dogs myself that some spots are not permitted and can't be their territory.

I wouldn't bother 'training' them especially if they are not your pets.

If a pet becomes a public problem, it is almost always a problem caused by the owners lack of supervision.

I don't allow my dogs to free-roam. They get to run around our garden as much as they like but when they go out of the house on walks, they are all on leashes. And like any pet owner, you have to be responsible for your animal's training and habits.

You can try talking to the owners....at least once, but if the initial reaction is rudeness, indifference or defensive, then don't bother talking further. In my experience, if people are understanding, they will empathize the first time you bring up the issue. If they don't, appealing to their good sense a second time makes no difference.

After that, the smart money is to lodge a complaint with Majlis Bandaraya. At least they have something on record. If anything happens down the line...say you are forced to take measures against an aggressive or problematic animal, at least you have a prior formal complaint to back you up.

If you rear the cat and keep in place then okay. My place many cats but all stray ones. Create nuisance, make noise, cat fights and something not careful with your rubbish they tear your plastic bag apart and all the rubbish all over the place....:banghead:
Same with stray dogs.....:thefinger:

Cats are not easy to keep in one place. They come and go as they please. It's their nature. They are quite unlike dogs.

But free-roaming cats do not usually cause problems and in my experience I never ever have to deal with any problem from a neighbor's cats or even stray cats.

Most of the problems come from free-roaming or unsupervised dogs. Due to their larger size, an aggressive or territorial dog is a valid concern....more so if they are running in packs when even the smallest dogs will lose their fear for humans within a pack.

My area no problem with dogs, most or can say all have owners. Occasionally some escape out, but owner will come looking for them. So no pack or strays. But for cats, quite a lot. And I don't think they come and go. And they fight probably for territory too....:banghead:

try this..serai wangi spray...

Using violence will not deter the dog away but on the negative side you might plant fear in it. When a dog is afraid, it has only 2 options, fight or flee. If one particular day it chooses to fight then god bless you, especially when there is children nearby.

Told you already...pee on your wheel lol

I heard that before many many times from people who would rather accommodate a problematic animal rather than eradicate the problem.

As far as I have seen, they will only fight when cornered.

If an animal is openly aggressive to the point that it chooses to confront you even when there is an avenue of escape, you have a serious problem that has nothing to do with its fear of humans.

In such a case, it will more likely initiate an offensive move without provocation rather than a defensive one in response to an attack.

Packs are often a nuisance even without any history of prior human violence on them.

You are more likely to encounter such predatory tendencies within packs although it is not uncommon to have individual animals not in a pack who are just as aggressive. A lot of times this is a territorial issue with the animal, but being that most attacks occur in public places it is unreasonable to suggest 'no-go' areas for members of public. The proper solution is to alert the authorities to eradicate the problematic animal. It should not be the other way round where members of the public are forced to accommodate a problematic animal.

Passive responses such as peeing your own stuff on tyres, spraying fragrants, sprinkling pepper don't do sh!t I'm afraid. I have never seen any animal avoid an area like the plague short of having its a$$ conclusively kicked and kicked hard. Basically the act of peeing or shitting on your tyres is a territorial act by an animal (marking its boundaries with scent and scat) and the only way that it can be forced from its territory is if someone else assert dominance over it. Usually this requires a direct dominant response and inducement.

The mere fact that most people simply shy away and choose not to be proactive or overt thus allowing packs to congregate is what causes subsequent problems once a pack or an animal establishes a foothold on your territory.

So probably YYC gotta stand on guard his car all the time until the dog comes and then challenge him to show it who's boss lol

Dog is a problem and that is at my parents' house. Back on my apartment where I my car parks at, cats are a problem. They crawl onto my car rear bonnet and sleep on it, sometimes the rear bonnet got scratched by them. I have to park front in facing the wall so they can't sleep on the hot and sloppy front bonnet.
It seems I'm facing pet problems every where I park.

Use pee to fight pee?? the wheel will karat even faster now....

Anyway, I dont think it might work. I used to have 2 dogs at home. One dog tend to pee at the same spot after another dog have pee'ed.....as though the original pee have made the spot more exciting to pee on...

unless human pee has a special scent that makes them go away....
